High quality cork fabric directly from our manufacturer in Portugal. High quality cork fabric is made out of the least porous cork bark there sliced into 5 centimeter squares. These squares are layered by hand side by side in 25 meter long sheets and 1.80 meters wide. The cork layer is then pressed at a high temperature into a similar sized cotton layer. The process ends by manually with small cutting utensils cut any irregularities in the cork fabric. Due to the precision work involved in the layering and finishing touch the process is made manually by skilled artisans.
